Privacy Notice

This notice explains how CYPH/1 uses personal information collected through this pre-launch website and early-access registration.

Information we collect

When you request early access, we collect your email address and a record of your consent, including the consent wording version, submission source and submission time. Cloudflare also processes limited technical information, such as your IP address and browser information, to operate the website securely and prevent automated abuse.

Providing an email address is optional. If you do not provide it, you cannot join the early-access list, but you can continue to use the rest of the website.

How and why we use it

We use your email address to send CYPH/1 product-development updates and launch information after you confirm your subscription. Our lawful basis is your consent. Registration uses double opt-in, so you must confirm your email before joining the early-access list.

Early-access registration is not an order or pre-order, and no payment information is collected.

Service providers

We use Brevo to manage subscriptions and send email, and Cloudflare to provide website infrastructure, form security and automated-abuse protection. They process information on our behalf under contractual and data-protection arrangements.

These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted international transfer takes place, we require an applicable legal safeguard, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your information.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile uses security-related signals and technologies that are necessary to protect the early-access form from automated abuse. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies, we will update this notice and request consent where required.

How long we keep information

We delete unconfirmed registration information after 30 days. Confirmed subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We also review the list and delete records after 24 months without engagement unless there is a valid reason to retain them.

We may retain a minimal suppression record after an unsubscribe so that we can respect the request not to send further marketing.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. To exercise a right, contact info@cyph1.co.uk.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are concerned about how we use your information.

Automated decision-making

We do not use your personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Automated security checks may reject suspected abuse of the early-access form; you can contact us if you believe a genuine submission was blocked.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as CYPH/1 develops. Material changes affecting existing subscribers will be communicated where appropriate.
